When I do the wooden stick trick, I'm letting the polish get a little too dry because I'm afraid I'll slip and take a chunk out of the "good" part of the polish (which I've done). It seems I need more practice...

Thank you for the info!! :)fauxfunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10858984943000312705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120715606838745442.post-67008590927155638442008-09-18T11:03:00.000-04:002008-09-18T11:03:00.000-04:00Thank you all you gals for the sweet comments!Faux...Thank you all you gals for the sweet comments!

Fauxfun, You're so sweet! My application isn't always perfect, my trick is in the clean-up technique. If i get any large amount of polish on the skin around my nails i first swab away most of it with a pointy q-tip dipped in remover. For smaller mess-ups or just to make the "gap" nice and even i use a wood mani stick dipped in remover. My best advice is to do clean-up as you go, while the polish is still wet, otherwise the gap edge can look rough. I hope this info helps :)Hillaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13621830103427793730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120715606838745442.post-43766197825773812782008-09-18T00:37:00.000-04:002008-09-18T00:37:00.000-04:00Your son has such a bright smile! He has beautiful eyes, too.

And regarding beautiful, how in the WORLD do you get your application to be *so* close to your skin and looking *so* perfect. Seriously. Sometimes I think you photoshop new lacquers on your same pictures because there are usually no flaws. Is it how you apply your base?fauxfunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10858984943000312705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120715606838745442.post-15759505896392867392008-09-17T13:27:00.000-04:002008-09-17T13:27:00.000-04:00aww he is adorable hill! i love GUG on you - i pas...aww he is adorable hill! i love GUG on you - i passed on this one i'm just not a green lover.Damihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17429915974796391256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120715606838745442.post-1087567077521051802008-09-17T10:58:00.000-04:002008-09-17T10:58:00.000-04:00Your boy is soooo cute! it must be so hard to say ...Your boy is soooo cute! it must be so hard to say "no" to that face.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120715606838745442.post-7445583608225125152008-09-17T10:36:00.000-04:002008-09-17T10:36:00.000-04:00Your son is such a cutie!Your son is such a cutie!Victoria at Figuring Out The Detailshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05302746573555612168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6120715606838745442.post-33263960593381937942008-09-17T10:09:00.000-04:002008-09-17T10:09:00.000-04:00awww he's gorgeous!!awww he's gorgeous!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
